First-party traffic counts
We count successful full page loads by day and approximate country/region using location metadata supplied by our hosting network. This aggregate counter uses no analytics cookie, browser identifier or stored IP address. Reloads count again; internal navigation without a full page load does not. Known bot user agents are filtered, but counts are not guaranteed to represent human sessions. Where location metadata is unavailable, we record Unknown.
Only after you accept analytics, we also use a random daily browser identifier (radar-daily-browser in local storage) to count consenting browsers once per day. The identifier changes on the next visit on a new day in Europe/Istanbul time and is removed when you reject analytics. It does not identify a person or connect different devices. Daily identifiers older than 32 days and aggregate counts older than 400 days are removed on the next counted visit or report request. Reports are restricted to the site owner. No browsing history, page URLs, raw IP addresses or user-agent strings are stored in these traffic tables.
Cookies & browser storage
The Partner Radar application uses browser local storage for the functions below. Local storage is different from a cookie: these values are not automatically attached to each web request.
| Storage key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| radar-saved | Saved news links | Until changed or cleared in this browser |
| radar-read | Read-news links and unread filtering | Until changed or cleared in this browser |
| radar-dates | Key-date preparation checkmarks | Until changed or cleared in this browser |
Hosting and sign-in
The hosting platform may use separate cookies or similar technologies for sign-in, security and service delivery. The list above is an inventory of application local storage, not a complete audit of platform cookies. Provider-specific names and lifetimes have not been verified.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics loads only after you select Accept analytics. It measures visits, page views and interactions, including outbound link clicks. Its _ga and _ga_* cookies distinguish browsers and sessions; this site configures a one-year cookie lifetime, which may be renewed on visits. Advertising features are disabled. Your choice is saved in local storage as radar-analytics-consent until changed or cleared. Use Cookie settings to accept or reject analytics at any time. Rejecting after acceptance removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the tag. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not remove previously collected data.
Your controls
You can remove these values through your browser’s settings for this site. Doing so resets saved news, read status, preparation marks. Blocking storage can prevent preferences from persisting. Clearing authentication cookies may sign you out.
