Dataverse and Work IQ add public-preview capabilities ahead of PPCC
Microsoft’s October 23 PPCC update highlights public-preview capabilities for connecting Dynamics 365 and Power Platform business context to Copilot and agents. Business Skills adds agent-assisted creation and editing, version history and security options.
Work IQ MCP Server in Copilot Studio gains business context, while the Business Apps plugin in Cowork supports governed actions across existing applications.
Dataverse Ask API is available through Web API and the Dataverse Connector for natural-language questions against semantic models. The announcement also points builders to PPCC sessions on architecture, governance and implementation.
