Oracle AI Database@Azure adds sovereign controls and proximity placement support
Microsoft’s Oracle AI World update distinguishes available capabilities from a planned government-cloud expansion.
Proximity Placement Group integration is generally available for new Exadata Database Service deployments on dedicated infrastructure; customers with existing infrastructure can contact Oracle Support about options.
The Oracle Azure Resource Provider now supports the EU Data Boundary, alongside Azure Policy controls. Oracle also plans to obtain FedRAMP Class D certification for Azure Government deployments.
That government offering remains dependent on certification; the announcement does not establish that it is already available.
