Copilot expands finance skills with distinct Frontier and GA releases
Microsoft announced more than 25 finance skills and partner plugins across Copilot.
Accounting capabilities in Excel and Cowork are available in Frontier, while finance skills in Excel and the Capital Markets and Finance plugins in Cowork are generally available.
Dynamics 365 ERP and partner plugins are beginning to roll out through the Microsoft plugin registry; Fabric IQ is generally available in Cowork.
The capabilities support financial analysis and workflows while professionals retain control over decisions and approvals. Third-party services may require separate licensing, authentication or administrator enablement.
