Agentic Marketplace publishing reaches full product coverage

Microsoft Marketplace Blog · 20 Oct 2026

📰 Microsoft has expanded Marketplace Ingestion MCP and its publishing APIs to cover all Microsoft Marketplace offer types.

⏳ Product Ingestion APIs for SaaS and virtual machine offers are now generally available, while integrations built on earlier preview API versions can continue to operate.

🤖 Publishers can use natural-language, agent-assisted workflows through Marketplace Ingestion MCP, direct API integrations, or a combination of both to create, validate, publish and manage offers.

🤖 Access requires the appropriate Partner Center role and Microsoft Marketplace submission API access; an MCP-compatible client is also needed for the agent-assisted route.
