Updated benefits redemption process

Partner Center Announcements · 3 Aug 2026

💰 Partner benefit redemption now uses a guided flow beginning in Partner Center and completing through a USD 0 purchase, with cloud benefits and Azure credits attached to the relevant billing account.

⚠️ Azure credit activation no longer requires the previous user assignment and activation-link steps.

📅 From November 1, 2026, benefit expiry aligns with the offer purchase date and package membership period rather than the first redemption date.

⚠️ Partners should redeem on tenants under the associated MCA billing account and review expiry timing; the benefit entitlement itself is unchanged, but delaying redemption no longer creates a later independent expiry.

Previously

Azure credits previously used user assignment and activation links; expiry was tied to first redemption.
