Azure Advisor surfaces disconnected Arc servers before credentials expire
**Azure Advisor now highlights Arc-enabled servers that need connectivity attention.
** Microsoft’s guidance describes recommendations for servers disconnected for 30–44 days, those disconnected for at least 45 days, and servers whose managed identity certificate has expired.
Recommendations can be viewed in Azure Advisor, the individual Arc machine’s page, or Azure Resource Graph.
The Connected Machine agent’s certificate is valid for 90 days and renewal attempts begin when 45 or fewer days remain. Restoring network connectivity alone does not recover a server with an expired certificate: it must be re-onboarded.
The guidance serves administrators maintaining Azure management of hybrid servers.
