Azure Service Bus geo-replication on partitioned Premium namespaces is generally available
Azure Service Bus now generally supports geo-replication on partitioned Premium namespaces. The combination provides partitioned messaging capacity while replicating messages, processing state and namespace metadata to a secondary Azure region.
Existing partitioned Premium namespaces can enable geo-replication for their queues and topics.
For new deployments, partitioning must be selected during Premium namespace creation before geo-replication is configured; an existing namespace’s partitioning setting cannot be changed.
This release supports messaging workloads that need both greater throughput and continuity of replicated work across regions.
