Defender Protection and Posture Insights adds URL and filtering-override visibility
Defender for Office 365 Plan 2 customers gain new Protection and Posture Insights report views for URL protection and filtering overrides.
URL Protection shows checked clicks and blocked malicious destinations across email, Office apps, Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Filtering Overrides identifies phish, malware and spam allowed through organizational or user exceptions, including overrides applied to messages already classified as clean.
Expanded Go Hunt links open the underlying Advanced Hunting queries for these insights and detection trends. Customers generate the tenant-specific report from Email & collaboration reports in the Defender portal.
